children in africa such as the sudan are discriminated against and arent free. they are put down by rebel forces and given nothing to eat. they are forced to live in camps that can hardly support life. they have to struggle every day just to go get fire wood to cook with. compared to the life of american slaves i think children in africa have it slightly worse because if the rebels kill them then they wouldnt care but the slave owners wanted to keep the slaves alive.

In my blog, I talked about immediate groups inside the US, but I like how you described other people in other countries. I can tell that you got your influence from previous years in High School, such as with the Darfur video in Mr. Priest's class.

Also, it was very interesting how you thought that African children have it worse since their so called "masters" don't care if they kill them, whereas the slavemasters want to keep their slaves alive and actually show some compassion. However, I would say that they are, in essence, equal since they have many of the same qualities: horrible masters, live in straw huts, little or no food, etc. Yet, both slaves and Africans live horrible lives in their own rights.
